In this material world, there are two basic cultures: selfish and unselfish. Since ages, more marketable culture is the selfish one, but more commanding culture is the unselfish one. When two selfish hearts meet they cannot come together because it is the material consciousness and its selfish identities that meet. Nevertheless, when two or more unselfish hearts meet, even if they are not enlightened, a unity exists at the root itself. This occurs in a unique way because in every unselfish mind there is no identity, but the cause.

 

In our life journey, our mind consistently generates several ideas and operates several ideas. Finally, the same mind dissolves all the operated ideas. In this process, every idea has its own plan, illusion, precognition, etc., based on its own birth-life-death cycle. Each death engenders new ideas, new illusions, new plans, and new visions and so on. Such construction-destruction-reconstruction or birth-death-rebirth cycles repeatedly occur in our mental mechanism as an evolving cycle of dialectics. Sri Krishna metaphorically says that after several such birth, death and rebirth cycles of the mind you will reach Him.

 

First time in the history of humanity, the idea of reincarnation emerged in the brain cells of Puruvana, the King of Panchala. By embracing the science of finite enlightenment he ruled the people. The theory of birth-rebirth cycle had given him more strength to rule people by showing the profit motive of next birth. He always used to say that if people were to observe goodness in the present life they would get good future births. If they lived a sinful life, their future births would be extremely painful and degrading. His subjects exhibited goodness because of the fear of retribution and the profit motive of birth-rebirth cycle.

 

King Puruvana, who emerged with the powerful tool of birth-rebirth cycle, shook the entire mental mechanism of the ancient sages of that particular space-time. When the King Puruvana presented the puzzle to the erudite spiritual scholars of his court they could not dispute it. Eventually, they approved the birth-rebirth theory of Puruvana as a true vision of life only because they themselves were desperately searching for an answer to this mortal life. This answer gave them momentary satisfaction. Here, we must realize that the particular theory of Puruvana was the need of the particular space-time to complete the cosmic cycle of the enlightened selfishness. The final energy accumulation of the absolute Truth can take place only after the completion of all these types of enlightened selfishness.
