Zantrex 3 Diet Pills
Zantrex is one of the new fat burners that have been formulated after the FDA banned diet pills from containing Ephedra. You probably recognize it from the TV commercials - along with Trimspa, Zantrex is probably the best publicised diet pill around.
Zantrex actually has a clinical trial to back up it claims. 47 people were given Zantrex over the course of a month and a half, and the average weight loss was 11.5lbs! How Does Zantrex Work?
Zantrex works primarily because of the "proprietary Xanthine-based stimulant" that it contains. This is basically caffeine, in the form of Yerba Mate, Green Tea and Guarana. The other ingredients are listed below.Yerba Mate
Yerba Mate is an evergreen tree that is commonly found throughout South America. Its leaf has been used as a tea and medicine for centuries among the indigenous people of Brazil and Paraguay. The local people treasure it for its properties as an appetite-suppressant and energy-giver.
The major active ingredient in Yerba Mate is caffeine, which increases your metabolism and aids weight loss. It does more than just a cup of coffee though, through the way that its unique combination of natural substances work together. It also contains Saponins, plant chemicals that have been shown to stimulate the immune system.
Guarana
Guarana is a plant originating from Brazil. It is used as a fat burner and stimulant there, and is actually a very popular drink. One of the nice attributes of Guarana is that it does not irritate your stomach like caffeine can, and is less likely to give you the 'peak and trough' ride that drinking coffee brings.
Green Tea
The third main ingredient of Zantrex is Green Tea extract. Green Tea is so effective because it increases your metabolism and reduces your appetite.
It has been used for more than 4000 years in Chinese medicine, to cure ailments ranging from headaches to depression, and now is one of the most popular and effective diet aids around.
Other ingredients
Cocoa and cola nut are other sources of caffeine found in Zantrex. Of the remaining ingredients, its interesting to note that Damiana, Ginseng and Maca root have all been used as aphrodisiacs. Clearly the best form of exercise!
Finally, the last ingredient is Schizonepeta, a Chinese type of mint with a variety of benficial effects, including better circulation.
Zantrex Side Effects
Zantrex is a fat burner that increases your metabolism and can increase your heart rate. It has similar side effects to caffeine, ie nervousness, higher blood pressure and heart palpitations among some patients.
