visualize the financial success you want to enjoy, visualize your relationships as you want to have them. As you do, be sure to feel the positive emotions that these things will bring. That feeling is the essential ingredient for your visualizations to work. Once you have finished, spend 15-20 minutes in quiet meditation, to help to release your intention to the universe and set the tone for your entire day. When you incorporate meditation or visualization, or better yet both, in your morning, you will eventually not need an alarm clock at all, as you will automatically awake at the right time each day.

Habit #6 — Packing Your Own Lunch and Snacks

Prepare your lunch and a couple of snacks each day. It’s one of the most important healthy habits you can develop, for your physical health as well as your financial health.

Eating out every day for lunch gets exceedingly expensive, because of the meals, of course, but also because of the larger clothes you’ll have to buy. For several years my wife and I owned a salon and spa business which she managed on a daily basis. When we sold it in 2006 we started meeting for lunch every day. The bill for these little get-togethers averaged $400 a month. It didn’t take long to realize that we could pay for a nice family vacation with the money we would be spending each year on lunch. Not only were we wasting a lot of money but we were also putting on the pounds. I graduated from a 32 to a 34 waist size in just a few months on our new, rich lifestyle. We still get together almost every day but now we go to the gym and exercise together and Tami brings a bag a fruit for us to eat after our workout.

Pack your lunch and a couple of snacks to bring to the company or school with you each day. Even if you work at home, you should still pack your lunch and snacks.
